Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel has expressed his strong opposition to the recent decision by President Donald Trump to reinstate Cuba on the list of states sponsoring terrorism. In a statement on the social network X, Díaz-Canel described this action as an act of “arrogance and contempt for the truth” and stressed that the designation is “fraudulent.”
The Cuban leader argued that the measure is part of a broader strategy to intensify the “cruel economic war” against the island, with the aim of exercising domination over the country.
